Mission Peru

Yesterday was the day it all began. Six years ago my brother, Jordan, went on the first ever mission Peru trip and the moment he came home and shared some experiences with me, I knew that I wanted to go serve in Peru once I was old enough. I’ve been counting down the years since then and today’s the day the journey in Peru begins.

On Saturday, March 8, the journey to Trujillo, Peru begins. It seems like only moments ago when we began planning the 2014 trip; now it’s here!

Overall, this trip was amazing. I have grown so much closer with God and my church friends. We are in the Lima airport right now. The bus ride here was amazing, the mountains were breathtaking. I sat with Connor and Kasia on the second floor, at the very front--we had the best seat in the house.
