    July 1, 2013

So right now I’m sitting on the rooftop of one of the buildings while everyone is starting to clean up to get ready for dinner.  Today was a great day, we stayed home today (I guess you could say) focusing on construction. I really enjoyed today. I did many different jobs today that included: cleaning paint off the floor, taping up...

    Amanda's Blog (Part 2)

    July 1, 2013

After worship we split into the three classrooms from each church with four students since the classrooms are not as big as the ones we have in Canada. Each church was to have either a craft or game and a bible story to share. I was one of the students whom did not teach today but I think I will tomorrow or sometime soon, I went to walk around...

    June 30, 2013

Hola! This is Connor, got the fine duty of blogging today! Peru’s been awesome, today we went to the dump and visited all the children, it was lots of fun!

Melissa and I tried to get a picture of a puppy and almost got eaten by a pack of dogs, (still pretty fun). Everyone seems to be having a fun time, and I’m very grateful for that! The construction jobs are going well, I’ve finished welding together a shelf and im very close to finishing it! This trip really is a great experience and it’s very awesome to be here. That’s the end of my blog, so adios mi amigos! See ya later!

    Holly Bye's Blog

    June 28, 2013

Today was an awesome day; we did so many different things.

We toured through the Museo San Francisco. Throughout the tour we saw magnificent ceilings, beautiful tiled walls, huge, old paintings and a catacomb filled with bones.

For lunch, many tried Peruvian dishes such as: papa con crema de pimientos and aji de gallina con arroz. The second...

    Alex's Blog

    June 27, 2013

It is currently 3:20 am in Lima Peru and Melissa and I are sitting on our bed terrified of the sounds radiating from the far left corner of our room. We are 95% sure that they are mice … and not one or two but perhaps twenty or thirty from behind the other side of the wall. Though we have only been away for 24 hours the trip has already...
