This trip has been amazing so far. I have had so many times where God has shown his power and his love. For example, when we were working there were so many times where I felt like I can’t go any farther because we have been running low on sleep and energy, but every time that happens God puts something or someone there to encourage me and get me going again. My trust in God has also grown as we are in a different country and it’s a different culture. When I did my devotional I really trusted God because I am out of my comfort zone when it comes to speaking to a big group of people but God calmed my nervous and I did my and I said what I felt like he wanted me to say. It is different working behind the scenes most of the time rather than directly with the kids, because it is more physical work and we are trusting God for energy and safety, but we are still building relationships, serving God and serving the people like we would if we were running something like a day camp. God is still working in people’s lives and in my life and it is so amazing. We went to the day care and another ministry today where we were interacting with the kids and it was so encouraging to see how the kids were so happy and thankful even though they had so little. We gave the kids toothbrushes and soap and they were thrilled with it. At the one places we went to they sang a song about being so, so thankful for what they have and people in Canada have so much more but we aren’t as thankful or as happy as these people are.  The children’s happiness and thankfulness is so encouraging because it encourages me to be more thankful and appreciative of all the stuff I have back home because I have so much more but they seem so much happier. God has shown me so much through this trip so far and it is still not over. I am excited to see what God has in store for these last few days in Peru.

Madison you have experienced so much and worked so very hard. God is honoring you by giving you the strength you need. You are having an impact in Peru. The blessings will still keep coming even after you are back in Canada. Thank you for going. Thanks everyone.

Hi team. You seem to be observing so much Madison. We do need to be more thankful here in Canada. We really do not realize how great we have it. I am sure God has still more to show all of you in the next few days and that all these lessons will last a lifetime. The children and the team seem to be soooooo happy in the pictures that we saw. Amen for that. God bless all of you as we continually pray for you. Hugs to all and kisses to Jaqueline.

Ephesians 5:19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. When you are low on "power" think on God's love for you and minister from that place.
