    Loving the Imperfections

Wow has Peru ever been an adventure so far! Only three days here and I already feel at home aha! I miss all my family and friends back in Tbay (woot woot). The scenery here is beautiful, the sand not so much...you’d be surprised the places it finds itself haha. The people here are awesome, they never stop laughing and smiling. I wanted to share one thing with you guys so far in my journey, if there was one thing I would bring back home right now, it would be love. Love in the sense that not everything is perfect, and it doesn’t have to be. God has shown me through the light in the kid’s eyes, the genuine good morning “Buenos Dias” from the Peruvians, the impact of teamwork and dedication, can bring you joy even when you least expect it. Ultimately, God has shown me that when you stop looking for perfection, that’s when you start living. I can also see that God has a sense of humour...got pooped on by a bird at the end of the day yesterday...good times. Adios!

Thank you sooo much Justine for sharing that with all of us! I can't help but comment after that. That was beautiful and truly this is what I had hoped would come. Every experience will be different, as are people, but everyone can spread love no matter who you are. Keep up the great work and keep spreading your love throughout Trujillo. Those children are adorable in the pictures and am happy you all are able to connect so close to all of them. Have fun!
