Mission Peru

Today was very long; I had such a great sleep on the bus. The bus was pretty sick, the seats reclined and I sat beside my good bud, Jasmine Bester. She kept on elbowing me in her sleep. The view was amazing and a bit different. It wasn’t what I expected but its nice seeing new things. I cannot wait to venture around and see more of the city. Today we got to hang out with some of the kids and mothers in the community and the mothers kicked our butts in volleyball. The kids are insanely social and outgoing. We had tons of fun with them.

Yesterday was a gongshow but still managed to enjoy travelling. It was my first time travelling this far and being away from home. Thankfully I am here with a great team that is very supportive. I cannot wait to do more things with the team and learn more.
